About Us

I'm not your average twenty something. I was raised on the Christian-faith, but it wasn't until God took away our home when I truly decided to follow Him. At the age of 21, I learned a very important lesson: God will do whatever it takes to get your attention.

My family was splitting apart and my house was gone. There was a hole inside me that I thought would never be filled. That is, until I turned back to what I was raised on. That's when I learned something else: Everyone has a God-shaped hole on the inside.

After I started to really dig for more, I felt an inner pull. It was a calling so strong, I couldn't ignore it. The Holy Spirit was calling me to ministry. When God calls, it's time to answer.

Currently, I'm a Biblical Studies student at Rochester College pursuing a career in ministry. I'm an aspiring pastor, evangelist, and disciple for Jesus! I started the renew[church] movement in 2011 with the hopes of bringing back the core gospel message to church communities, and the everyday Christian to take a stand and do more than the average. Christians aren't your average people, we're children of God!

I don't pretend to have it all down and I certainly don't claim to know everything about God. I do believe though that the Bible gives us a good, tangible look at God in the form of Jesus, and what it means to follow him with your life. I try to live my life this way, knowing I'll never quite reach it, but acknowledging that this is part of what makes it beautiful. To have a relationship with an infinite god is to have a relationship that can never reach the pinnacle. There's always something to learn, and the relationship can always go deeper.

Living with Jesus is a constant journey of learning more about him, yourself and how the two interact and accomplish the greatest things anyone could dream of. Be it in this life or the next, there is work to be done to bring Jesus to the people (or rather, the people to Jesus). Jesus is the embodiment of love, and I go about life trying to convey and live that out by giving myself to the cause that I find to be the greatest ever proposed.

I'm currently going to school for graphic design, which I love. I'm also incredibly passionate about music, and whichever (or both?) becomes my career is up in the air, and up to God. I also love talking theology and philosophy, and am the 'sustainer' type of Christian; the one who's digging deeper and encouraging others to do so. But whatever I do, I try to do it with the mindset of Christ.
